    Inyasha the Final

Post by JGZinv on 3/30/2010, 2:53 am

Well the last sub episode came out finishing the manga/anime arc that the first
    series left off....

    What's your opinion of it?

For some reason, it was a good ending by how I typically rate things... but I feel
somber or a since of sadness watching it. Rather puzzling I guess.

Perhas it is recognition of something that has come to an end that I've seen over
so many years as it's come out... kinda like watching a friend depart.

Even though it's my #2 favorite anime I will wait until the official DVDs come out in America to see it.I was gonna hold out for the final chapter of the manga to get published here, but I don't know if I'll have enough room in the manga collection or not by then.
    Favorite characters:Kagome,Sango and Kagura(R.I.P.)

Do you mean the first! arc that resolves the lover's misunderstanding?
I haven't watched for the last 5-6 years after seeing that arc finished in manga/anime. The one that ended with the fight in the forest where Kikyo gathered spirits. After which they chased the demon's trails of 'rebirth'. I knew it was going off back then, hence, I stopped sometime between vol16-3x.
It's likely that I'll catch up now. Laughing

Sort of Almael, I think this one starts just prior to Kagura dying, and continues through the end.

Still rather wish the last ep was longer and made into two.. or left a little more time for the closing.
They kinda squished the finale and the prologue into one ep which was a tad rushed.

I see. From the feeling I can understand. It's kind of like how Ranma ends. It just never finishes and then it's gone.

Looking back I just realize the series was put out quite fast.

Pretty much all the bad guys die, all the good guys live.

So Naraku dies...yeah big surprise there. But couldn't they have kept Kagura alive and killed off Shippo instead?I mean I think more fans would have perferred Shippo dying than Kagura!

Yeah,I know.Still she was one of my favorite characters and my favorite villian until she went all wimpy toward the end of the original series.
On the other hand Shippo was like the Wesley Crusher of Inuyasha, the character that people REALLY hated because he was so annoying!
    Die Wesley...er Shippo...Die!
